Material Estimators

Use the following Material Calculators to help determine how much material you need to complete molds and castings of simple shapes. For more complex projects, these calculators can be helpful in planning, but more detailed calculations should be done by hand before proceeding. You can also call Polytek^® Technical Support for additional assistance.

Also remember to account for any materials that may be wasted during the process, such as material that might cling to the sides of mixing containers. In mold making and casting, it’s always best to over-estimate slightly.
